Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade's adventures have taken them from fugitives to heroes, but it all came back to family. Their family of teens with troubled homes, dropouts and orphans stayed together because they're all they've got. Keith Mathews, Dallas Winston, Steve Randle, Sodapop and Darrel Curtis - they have their own life and part of it is a war with the Socs. That war got to be to much to handle, though, after Johnny died to save the children in the church.
